Reading my farewell letter to a friend

As I stood up to read my final farewell letter to my buddy Brian, it took me a couple of minutes to get my composure back to read my two and half page letter. I had a rough time reading it too! First because I had tears in my eyes once I stopped choking up I still had a rough time reading the letter... I forgot to put on my reading glasses!!! I can laugh at it now, laughter is a good healing band-aid for the soul I think. Anyway, I was able to get through it, not eloquently but I got through it.
